Are you tired of spending time looking foritems that you KNOW that you have, but you don’t remember where you put them? I am here to help you set your goals and help you to organize your items and space. Having a system that works FOR YOU is key to having and maintaining an organized space in your home. I help my clients to define their needs and determine their style of living before providing suggestions to help them decide what to keep and what to donate. I approach ever individual with dignity, compassion and a judgement free attitude creating customized solutions that promote success and peace of mind.

I work with clients who are moving. I help them to decide what to keep and what to donate before their move. Items that they don’t want to keep I offer suggestions for removal. Taking their items to donation centers is one of the options of the services that I provide.

I have been a professional organizer for about seven years. Previously I have been a teacher and a Speech Language Pathologist. I am a trained Professional Organizer and member. of NAPO (National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals) with a Specialist Certificate Residential Organizing and Life Transitions. Currently I am a member of the MI NAPO chapter and the Director of Membership. Our MI Chapter continues to offer education through speakers at our monthly meetings.

I also understand the necessity of being connected to our community. I am a member of the Council for Action on Aging which consists of individuals that represent various organizations and services that support our senior citizens. We meet monthly and different speakers give information on how we can be of service to our seniors. Working with seniors is a joy for me. I have helped many seniors sort through their neglected papers and develop a system for finding their important papers. I have also helped many who are moving to a new space by making floor plans for the furniture in their new home. I also pack/unpack their boxes when they have moved or will be moving to a new setting. Many extended family members do not live in the same state as their loved one so I am available to do the unpacking and organizing their new space. That environment could be an apartment, smaller home or even an assisted living home.

I have also been featured in our local Canton Today magazine in the summer of 2024. I have been featured on Channel 7 Action News about tips for setting up a garage sale. These are some of the media opportunities that have helped my business to grow.

They pull everything out of each cabinet and CLEAN the inside, while they had me decide in each cabinet what to keep and throw out (like expired medicine!). They have boxes for you to put in things in for giving away or putting in a garage sale. We also moved some things to a basement shelf that are more seasonal and don't need to be in my kitchen cabinets all the time. They helped me put things in little containers and back up in my cabinet, so things are more easily grouped like cold medicines, etc. My spice cabinet was hilarious. I had a few of the same spices that I didn't even know I had. I combined and threw out some really old ones, and put them in little containers that make them easier to store and grab. We moved things to cabinets closer to the place in the kitchen where they need to be used. Most of the containers we used were little baskets or Rubbermaid things I already had and we just made use of them. They do not push you to buy products. They are fun and friendly and so helpful and has excellent ideas. I would not have thought of half the things we did on my own. We have lived here 19 years, and my cabinets have never been this organized - not even when we first moved in. I feel like my kitchen just lost 15 pounds in one day!
