She has achieved NAPO Specialist Certificates in Life Transitions, Household Management, Residential Organizing, Team Productivity, and Workplace Productivity. Laura also served on active duty and reserves in the United States Air Force.

Victoria Thompson has training and work experience with issues of aging, dementia care, and special education. She was a missionary, radio news broadcaster, and ESOL teacher for many years in Alaska before relocating to Indiana.
