I have a term for people like me - Naturally Unorganized - NU. I am a NU. If you are too, I understand your clutter and disorganization frustrations. I'm not an organizer though, I'm an organization coach. I focus on helping you change behaviors, find your internal organizer, and develop new habits. People that are Born Organized (BO's) may not understand that NU's have to learn organization concepts and methods - like a baby learns to eat. It can be messy at first, but eventually it's self sustaining. Read my blog (listed as my website) to get a taste of my style and direction. If you're looking for a quick fix, this is not it. I do not come to your house or your office. We exchange email, we set goals, you do the work, you reap the rewards and a self-confidence boost. You make the changes that need to be made. Changes can turn your life around but it’s probably not going to happen overnight. It’s challenging. You have to face fears, accept reality, perhaps even lower your standards. And you have to do the work - usually hours of work including a lot of thinking. You are capable of different degrees of organization at different times in your life. My goal is to help you identify the most important thing for you to do next. The rest will come…next. Concentrating on one thing at a time is a great strategy to overcome any overwhelming task. That’s your first coaching tip. Read some of my blog entries (http://get--it--together.tumblr.com/) and drop me a line (). Small changes lead to big improvement. You can do. If you're not ready to take on a coach or organizer, get a book. One of my favorites for NU's is "From Pigsty to Paradise". Entertaining and enlightening. Best wishes.
