Congratulations on taking the first step in getting your life in order. I know making that call to an organizer and telling them you need help is probably the hardest part. But once we get started you will be relieved that you did. Sometimes life gets in the way of things we would like to do. I won't judge you and there is nothing to be ashamed of. Disorganization is very common and is found in all types of homes with all types of people living there. Even organized people get overwhelmed sometimes, especially with a life change (new baby, job, move, etc.) My goal is to create a space where everything is there for a reason and everything has its place. I will work with you to come to the best solution that you and your family can maintain, and get your life back on track.
My name is Melissa Duca and I started Organize This to help people who are overwhelmed, relive the stress they are feeling and bring calmness back to their life. I won't just clean up and organize the space you live in but will show you how to keep it this way by teaching life lessons and giving easy to abide by ideas.
I have a B.S. in Business Communications from Bentley University and have been in real estate for the last 10 years and have a diploma in interior design from the University of Pittsburg. I have always been highly organized and detailed oriented and after years of helping friends ...I took the leap and became a professional organizer. With my background in design and real estate I can not only help you organize but make the space pleasant to cohesive to live in.
I love to plan spaces, problem solve, decorate and help others learn little tricks to help keep their life in order. I love the feeling after a room or space is organized and you will too. This isn't just a job for me....it is what I do and love to do.
I am a member of NAPO National Association of Professional Organizers and follow their standards.
